Kendallville, Indiana

Kendallville is a small town in Noble County, Indiana. Located near the eastern edge of the county on State Road 3, the town of 10,000 is the largest town in the county.

Kendallville is notable for the beautiful old commercial buildings that line Main Street. Many of them are in incredibly well-preserved condition, and most still have locally owned businesses in their first floor storefront spaces.

In many small towns in Indiana, the old "Main Street" buildings are in poor condition, with the upper-story windows boarded up. Many have vacant storefronts. Kendaville is in better economic condition than a lot of Indiana's small towns, and has been able to maintain a thriving local business community despite competition from big chain stores.
