When I was a fine arts student at Indiana University's Fort Wayne campus in the late 1990s, I had to create a thesis project that would be exhibited in the school's art gallery along with the projects of the other art majors graduating that year. These photographs were my project, and represented the beginning of a lifetime's work. I made them all in 1998, and graduated in 1999.
