The old Milan Center School is located on the southeast corner of Doty Road and Milan Center Road in rural Allen County, Indiana.
The building is built in the style of a one-room schoolhouse, but it is much larger and has several classrooms. It is currently owned by Milan Center Feed and Grain, which has a grain elevator and store across the street. Milan Center School originally opened in 1906 as a three room public school. It closed in 1972. The school was used as a Christian school or a church at some point; the classrooms are still decorated with religious posters and Bible verses.
The crossroads where this school is located is marked on maps as a town called Milan Center, but there is no town. Its just a crossroads with the grain elevator, a church and this old schoolhouse. There are no houses nearby, just farmland.
