The clouds in the sky near sunset were very interesting on the evening of May 14, 2017. I made a series of photographs of the sky, isolating abstract patterns and shapes formed by the clouds and the colors in the sky surrounding them.

These photographs were made in a very short period of time, just a few minutes. The color of the sky and the shapes and positions of the clouds changed rapidly as the sun set and the wind moved the clouds.

I photographed the sky from the Prairie Grove Cemetery on Old Trail Road in the Waynedale area of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
