A Polaroid snapshot of my cat Sneaky sitting on the kitchen counter, looking out the window in the morning. He often looks out through the kitchen windows to be sure none of his neighborhood enemies are walking through HIS yard!

Sneaky was an abandoned cat in my neighborhood that I took in back in 2018 after he came into my yard and started rubbing against my ankles one night. When I petted him, I could feel that he was skin and bones malnourished under his long hair. I gave him some leftover steak I had been saving to take to my parents' dog, and he began coming back and trying to come in my house. I took him to a vet because he had fleas and wasn't gaining weight despite me feeding him a lot. Turns out that he had tapeworms! After he was treated for the fleas and tapeworms, he gained weight and got a lot healthier. He is a very sweet and affectionate cat.

I named him Sneaky because he kept slipping in the house no matter how careful I was. The vet said to keep him outside for a period of time after the flea treatment to make sure all the fleas were gone, but Sneaky did not want to wait! He still likes steak, and routinely rejects his canned cat food unless I 'season' it by adding some steak. I keep a bag of meat in the fridge for that purpose. Some say he is spoiled!

Print Information:

The original Polaroid print is not for sale, but you may purchase prints that I have made from the original image. Like the prints that I produce and sell of my conventional photographs, these are exhibition quality signed archival inkjet prints made on glossy baryta paper using pigment inks. Because Polaroid prints fade over time when exposed to light, the inkjet prints are actually superior for framing and display; they will not fade.

The 3.5x4.3 inch prints are the same size as the original image; others are enlargements.

All of my prints are available framed or unframed. I use black metal Neilsen & Bainbridge frames with white cotton unbuffered museum board for the mat and backing board for maximum archival protection. Photographs are printed on an Epson pigment printer using Epson's archival ultrachrome inset for long life.

Credit card payment is handled through Paypal. You do not have to have a Paypal account. When you checkout, you will be taken to Paypal's site. If you have a Paypal account, sign in and approve the payment.

If you do not have a Paypal account, and do not want to sign up for one, there is a link on the Paypal page that says "Don't have a Paypal Account?" Click it to pay without signing up. It will accept your credit card like a normal credit card payment.

Prints usually ship within 7 days. This allows time for me to make your print, and if you have ordered a framed print, to frame and mat it.
