These beautiful French doors looked so out of place in this extremely small house. There were spent shotgun shell casings all over the floor in this bedroom, and in the kitchen.

This house was on Smith Road behind Fort Wayne International Airport, down the street from the site of an old schoolhouse that I used to photograph. I made this photograph in the dead of winter; I nearly froze even in my Russian wool coat!

I returned to Indiana from Santa Fe in 2007 to discover that the house, the barns, the silos, everything, were gone. An enormous pile of dirt from an industrial site down the road covers much of this site as well as the entire site of the schoolhouse that once sat just to the north.

All of my prints are available framed or unframed. I use black metal Neilsen & Bainbridge frames with white cotton unbuffered museum board for the mat and backing board for maximum archival protection. Photographs are printed on an Epson pigment printer using Epson's archival ultrachrome inset for long life.

Credit card payment is handled through Paypal. You do not have to have a Paypal account. When you checkout, you will be taken to Paypal's site. If you have a Paypal account, sign in and approve the payment.

If you do not have a Paypal account, and do not want to sign up for one, there is a link on the Paypal page that says "Don't have a Paypal Account?" Click it to pay without signing up. It will accept your credit card like a normal credit card payment.

Unframed prints usually ship within 7 days. This allows time for me to make your print and to allow it to cure for several days before I package it to ship. Framed prints usually take about two weeks, because my framer usually requires about a week to complete his work.

Please Note: In late 2024, I was forced to dramatically increase the prices for framed prints. This reflects the actual cost of framing them. I make no profit from the additional charge for framing; I charge you what the framer charges me, and every framer that I know has had to ramp up prices due to inflation in recent years. I earn my living selling my photographs, and offer the framing at cost because many people prefer to buy a print that is framed and ready to display.
