The Indiana-Michigan Power Center is the tallest of the three skyscrapers in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana. The 27 story, 442 foot (135m) tall building, completed in 1982, was originally known as One Summit Square. It was built by Indiana-Michigan Power, an electrical utility owned by American Electric Power, and Summit Bank. The locally-owned Summit Bank was absorbed into a larger bank years ago and after a couple of other mergers, it is now part of Chase Bank. In 2014, One Summit Square was renamed the Indiana-Michigan Power Center.

This building is widely regarded as the ugliest building in Fort Wayne; though it was designed by by one of the country's most prominent architectural firms, Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo and Associates. The original plan called for the construction of two identical buildings, twin towers; but budget problems stopped the project after the completion of the first tower.

I made this photograph in the early morning, with the sun reflecting off the windows on the building's south side. It is the first of the two photographs that I made of the Indiana-Michigan Power Center on that December morning.

All of my prints are available framed or unframed. I use black metal Neilsen & Bainbridge frames with white cotton unbuffered museum board for the mat and backing board for maximum archival protection. Photographs are printed on an Epson pigment printer using Epson's archival ultrachrome inset for long life.

Credit card payment is handled through Paypal. You do not have to have a Paypal account. When you checkout, you will be taken to Paypal's site. If you have a Paypal account, sign in and approve the payment.

If you do not have a Paypal account, and do not want to sign up for one, there is a link on the Paypal page that says "Don't have a Paypal Account?" Click it to pay without signing up. It will accept your credit card like a normal credit card payment.

Unframed prints usually ship within 7 days. This allows time for me to make your print and to allow it to cure for several days before I package it to ship. Framed prints usually take about two weeks, because my framer usually requires about a week to complete his work.

Please Note: In late 2024, I was forced to dramatically increase the prices for framed prints. This reflects the actual cost of framing them. I make no profit from the additional charge for framing; I charge you what the framer charges me, and every framer that I know has had to ramp up prices due to inflation in recent years. I earn my living selling my photographs, and offer the framing at cost because many people prefer to buy a print that is framed and ready to display.
