Glaser & Ebbs Building

The Glaser & Ebbs building is on the corner of Berry Street and Clinton Street, near the courthouse, in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana.

It was originally built in 1893 as the headquarters of a bank. When I was young, it was the headquarters of Home Loan Savings Bank, a locally owned bank. After they were acquired by Fifth Third Bank, it continued to be used by the bank for several years. It was later sold to Glaser & Ebbs, a local law firm.

I photographed it in the early morning as the sun was rising. It was still a bit dark outside, and bitterly cold. The building is decorated for Christmas, complete with a statue of Santa Claus.

by Christopher Crawford

All of my prints are available framed or unframed. I use black metal Neilsen & Bainbridge frames with white cotton unbuffered museum board for the mat and backing board for maximum archival protection. Photographs are printed on an Epson pigment printer using Epson's archival ultrachrome inset for long life.

Credit card payment is handled through Paypal. You do not have to have a Paypal account. When you checkout, you will be taken to Paypal's site. If you have a Paypal account, sign in and approve the payment.

If you do not have a Paypal account, and do not want to sign up for one, there is a link on the Paypal page that says "Don't have a Paypal Account?" Click it to pay without signing up. It will accept your credit card like a normal credit card payment.

Unframed prints usually ship within 7 days. This allows time for me to make your print and to allow it to cure for several days before I package it to ship. Framed prints usually take about two weeks, because my framer usually requires about a week to complete his work.

Please Note: In late 2024, I was forced to dramatically increase the prices for framed prints. This reflects the actual cost of framing them. I make no profit from the additional charge for framing; I charge you what the framer charges me, and every framer that I know has had to ramp up prices due to inflation in recent years. I earn my living selling my photographs, and offer the framing at cost because many people prefer to buy a print that is framed and ready to display.

Thank you for supporting my work.
