This is an effigy of President Donald Trump hanging in a tall tree from a hangman's rope. The tree stands in front of a house on Oakdale Drive on the south side of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The house's owner, Mike Cunningham, hanged Trump in effigy soon after the president's inauguration. The Trump effigy is holding the flag of the Soviet Union, symbolizing Trump's alleged ties to Russian president Vladimir Putin. Putin was a KGB officer during the Communist system's final years.

Cunningham's house had been covered in anti-Trump signs during the election campaign, which were still there when I photographed the Trump effigy. His neighbors aren't happy about it, but it is constitutionally protected free speech.

Update: Someone else had the same idea. A man in Kentucky also lynched Trump in effigy right after the presidential inauguration.

Update II: A couple weeks after I made this photograph, Mr. Cunningham cut down the Trump effigy and set up a life-size Vladimir Putin doll holding Trump's dead body!

All of my prints are available framed or unframed. I use black metal Neilsen & Bainbridge frames with white cotton unbuffered museum board for the mat and backing board for maximum archival protection. Photographs are printed on an Epson pigment printer using Epson's archival ultrachrome inset for long life.

Credit card payment is handled through Paypal. You do not have to have a Paypal account. When you checkout, you will be taken to Paypal's site. If you have a Paypal account, sign in and approve the payment.

If you do not have a Paypal account, and do not want to sign up for one, there is a link on the Paypal page that says "Don't have a Paypal Account?" Click it to pay without signing up. It will accept your credit card like a normal credit card payment.

Unframed prints usually ship within 7 days. This allows time for me to make your print and to allow it to cure for several days before I package it to ship. Framed prints usually take about two weeks, because my framer usually requires about a week to complete his work.

Please Note: In late 2024, I was forced to dramatically increase the prices for framed prints. This reflects the actual cost of framing them. I make no profit from the additional charge for framing; I charge you what the framer charges me, and every framer that I know has had to ramp up prices due to inflation in recent years. I earn my living selling my photographs, and offer the framing at cost because many people prefer to buy a print that is framed and ready to display.
