The antique gas pump in front of this garage is a Gilbarco Calco-Meter pump with Texaco Fire Chief Gasoline signage. Gas is just 49 cents a gallon!

I photographed it while the sun was setting behind me, as the light was fading away.

The garage is behind a house on Arbor Avenue in the neighborhood where I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana. When I was a teenager, the house was owned by an old man named Cecil Young, who was in his early 80s at the time. Mr. Young was also a photographer, and I spent a lot of time talking to him when I was in high school. The current owners added a porch to the front of the house and placed the gas pump in front of the garage.

All of my prints are available framed or unframed. I use black metal Neilsen & Bainbridge frames with white cotton unbuffered museum board for the mat and backing board for maximum archival protection. Photographs are printed on an Epson pigment printer using Epson's archival ultrachrome inset for long life.

Credit card payment is handled through Paypal. You do not have to have a Paypal account. When you checkout, you will be taken to Paypal's site. If you have a Paypal account, sign in and approve the payment.

If you do not have a Paypal account, and do not want to sign up for one, there is a link on the Paypal page that says "Don't have a Paypal Account?" Click it to pay without signing up. It will accept your credit card like a normal credit card payment.

Unframed prints usually ship within 7 days. This allows time for me to make your print and to allow it to cure for several days before I package it to ship. Framed prints usually take about two weeks, because my framer usually requires about a week to complete his work.

Please Note: In late 2024, I was forced to dramatically increase the prices for framed prints. This reflects the actual cost of framing them. I make no profit from the additional charge for framing; I charge you what the framer charges me, and every framer that I know has had to ramp up prices due to inflation in recent years. I earn my living selling my photographs, and offer the framing at cost because many people prefer to buy a print that is framed and ready to display.
