This building was once one of the roughest bars in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Located on Fairfield Avenue, just north of Taylor Street, Boom Boom's Saloon was a topless bar that became a hotbed of violent crime, drunken brawls, and prostitution.

Neighborhood residents and nearby business owners lobbied the government for years to close down Boom Boom's. They finally succeeded in getting the state to revoke the bar's liquor license, and it closed in September, 2000.

The building looked as shabby and seedy back then as it does in this photograph made more than 13 years after Boom Boom's closed. The building was pink then (it is painted gray now), and the first floor windows were not boarded up. Other than that, it looks about the same!

All of my prints are available framed or unframed. I use black metal Neilsen & Bainbridge frames with white cotton unbuffered museum board for the mat and backing board for maximum archival protection. Photographs are printed on an Epson pigment printer using Epson's archival ultrachrome inset for long life.

Credit card payment is handled through Paypal. You do not have to have a Paypal account. When you checkout, you will be taken to Paypal's site. If you have a Paypal account, sign in and approve the payment.

If you do not have a Paypal account, and do not want to sign up for one, there is a link on the Paypal page that says "Don't have a Paypal Account?" Click it to pay without signing up. It will accept your credit card like a normal credit card payment.

Unframed prints usually ship within 7 days. This allows time for me to make your print and to allow it to cure for several days before I package it to ship. Framed prints usually take about two weeks, because my framer usually requires about a week to complete his work.

Please Note: In late 2024, I was forced to dramatically increase the prices for framed prints. This reflects the actual cost of framing them. I make no profit from the additional charge for framing; I charge you what the framer charges me, and every framer that I know has had to ramp up prices due to inflation in recent years. I earn my living selling my photographs, and offer the framing at cost because many people prefer to buy a print that is framed and ready to display.
