6 Mile Place

6 Mile Bar and Pizzeria is a little bar at the corner of Wayne Trace and Tillman Road, just outside the city of Fort Wayne, Indiana. This ancient sign hangs on the garage behind the bar, facing Tillman Road, and it still has the establishment's former name on it, along with old-style Pepsi-Cola logos.

A lot of bars and small restaurants in the Fort Wayne area have signs with Pepsi's name or logo. I think that the company gave the signs to places that served Pepsi.

I photographed it pretty late in the evening, around 9:30pm.

Purchase Prints

All of my prints are available framed or unframed. I use black metal Neilsen & Bainbridge frames with white cotton unbuffered museum board for the mat and backing board for maximum archival protection. Photographs are printed on an Epson pigment printer using Epson's archival ultrachrome inset for long life.

Credit card payment is handled through Paypal. You do not have to have a Paypal account. When you checkout, you will be taken to Paypal's site. If you have a Paypal account, sign in and approve the payment.

If you do not have a Paypal account, and do not want to sign up for one, there is a link on the Paypal page that says "Don't have a Paypal Account?" Click it to pay without signing up. It will accept your credit card like a normal credit card payment.

Unframed prints usually ship within 7 days. This allows time for me to make your print and to allow it to cure for several days before I package it to ship. Framed prints usually take about two weeks, because my framer usually requires about a week to complete his work.

Please Note: In late 2024, I was forced to dramatically increase the prices for framed prints. This reflects the actual cost of framing them. I make no profit from the additional charge for framing; I charge you what the framer charges me, and every framer that I know has had to ramp up prices due to inflation in recent years. I earn my living selling my photographs, and offer the framing at cost because many people prefer to buy a print that is framed and ready to display.
