An American flag and a bulletin board on the wall of the office of Smith and Buckland Auto Parts, a junkyard in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The board is covered in signs spelling out the company's sales policies, but it also includes a political sign that says Indiana governor Mitch Daniels is a tax and spender who is targeting taxpayers for their money.

Smith & Buckland Auto Parts

This bulletin board hangs in the office at Smith & Buckland Auto Parts, a junkyard in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I went there to buy a wheel for my car after I hit a huge pothole that cracked one of the wheels on my car.

Smith & Buckland's office is an old dilapidated mobile home. The bulletin board is covered in signs, most of them stating their sales policies. A couple of them stood out, however.

One said; "Attention Taxpayers. Governor Mitch 'Tax & Spend' Daniels is targeting YOU!" It complained that our former governor wanted to raise cigarette taxes, and noted that the state rakes in $1.6 million a day in tobacco taxes paid by smokers.

They should be complaining that the City of Fort Wayne doesn't fix the huge potholes in our roads, but I guess that would be bad for an auto parts dealer's profits!

Another sign, the one with the drawing of a scowling boy, said; "God put me on Earth to accomplish a certain number of things. Right now I am so far behind I will never die."
